Kiyosumi Garden

Kiyosumi Garden is a compact but beautiful traditional Japanese garden, featuring a real Japanese tea house.  Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

  • The free park next door is a nice place to eat a bento from one of the local take outs.

How to get there

From Shinjuku station, take the Toei Shinjuku Line  (light green Metro line) to Morishita station, then take the  Toei Oedo Line (pink Metro line) to Kiyosumi-shirakawa station (24 mins, 260 yen).

From Tokyo station, take the Marunouchi Line (red Metro line) to Otemachi station, then take the Hanzomon Line (purple Metro line) to Kiyosumi-shirakawa station (11 mins, 160 yen).
