Kiyomizudera Temple

  • Check out the shopping street approaching Kiyomizudera.
  • To avoid the crowds, come in the early morning/sunrise for a stunning view of Kiyomizudera.
  • Explore the gardens and woods in the temple complex.

How to get there

From Kyoto station, take the 206 bus to Kiyomizu-michi or Gojozaka.

From other areas, take the bus to Kiyomizu-michi or Gojozaka (large bus stop on maps).
