Shakey’s is a chain of all you can eat pizza restaurants in Japan. The menus are far from orthodox, and will feature all sorts of crazy flavours and toppings. Past favourites include marshmallow, strawberry and green tea flavour pizzas. But if this doesn’t sounds too good, they also have plenty of more normal pizzas.
All you can eat at Shakey’s usually costs 780 to 900 yen, and is always available at lunch and usually at dinner time as well.
There is a Shakey’s in Shinjuku, so be sure to check it out. Maybe the KitKat pizza will be there when you go!
This is a typical pizza at Shakey’s. There are new ones every month, and as its all you can eat you don’t need to worry about how disgusting it may be!
There are also monthly pastas and salads. This is far from gourmet, but a great Japanesy experience.
