While the name is quite a tongue twister, Toritsu Tamakyuryo Natural Park and the associated shrine and pagoda complex make for a great tourist attraction in suburban Tokyo.

- It’s little far from central Tokyo, so consider combining it with Mount Takao and/or Showa Memorial Park.

How to get there
From Shinjuku station, take the Keio line (private line) to Takahatafudo station (310 yen, 30 mins). From the south exit, take a right down the shopping street and you will arrive at the temple complex and park.
