Autumn leaves ‘light up’ at Rikugien Garden

While there are many great Japanese gardens in Tokyo for autumn leavesRikugien Garden stands out for its ‘light up’ event. From around 6 o’clock until 9pm, visitors can walk around a very stylish light display. The autumn leaves have been expertly lit up!

We took the recommended route to make sure we saw all the autumn leaves

The lake is stunning during the day, but super special at night

The lights are always classy. No flashing disco lights!

There are lots of nice little features, such as Japanese bridges and huts.

Be sure to bring a good camera for the night shots!

Rikugien Garden is located in central Tokyo.
