Beautiful autumn leaves in Shinjuku Gyoen

One of the easiest to access and cheapest gardens in Tokyo is Shinjuku Gyoen. Only a short walk from Shinjuku, the huge park has a variety of areas, from Japanese ponds and lakes to French and English gardens. There is also a new, super modern greenhouse with lots of strange, tropical plants. As I live in the area, I have been countless times, and here are some pics from my second autumn leaves visit this year!

This tree has been bright red for many weeks. Autumn leaves are easier to catch than cherry blossoms, which can only last a week.

There is a real mix of trees and colours in this garden.

Plus, there are some cool artists doing their stuff!

Many enthusiast photographers come here as well, so be sure to come here if you are into taking photos.

Seeing the trees reflecting in the many lakes and ponds is an amazing sights.
