Osaka Amazing Pass

osaka amazing day pass

Are you only going to be in Osaka for a day or two and want to really pack a lot in? Then the ‘Osaka Amazing Pass’ might be for you. The pass gives unlimited use of the Osaka subway, tram and bus network and passes to 28 tourist attractions for 1 or 2 days, such as the Osaka Castle museum. It also comes with a guidebook and coupons. Attached are 2 special ‘TOKU’ tickets that provide extra special offers at 16 of the spots and various restaurants.

What does it cost?

1 day: 2,300 yen

2 days: 3,000 yen

When can I use it?

Is it worth it?

This pass is rather pricey, but if you don’t have much time in the city and are happy not spending too much time at each tourist spot, then this is a good pass. If you want to really take your time then buying individual tickets is probably better.

What are the rules?

  • 2 day pass must be used in 2 consecutive days.
  • You may only use the pass once for each tourist site.
  • Not usable on JR, Kintetsu or Nankai trains.

Where can I buy it?

The pass is available at any subway station, Tourist Information centers in Osaka and the Willer Bus terminal in Osaka.

How do I use it?

Insert the pass card into ticket gates when using the subway or show to the bus driver. When visiting one of the 28 tourist sites, just show the pass at the reception of each to gain access.
