Tokyo Tower (東京タワー) is an icon of Tokyo, helping to boost spirits and symbolising the renewal of the mega city after the war. While the free Metropolitan building and the Skytree beat it in the height game, Tokyo Tower definitely the most iconic and special in the hearts of Tokyo people.

How to get there
Tokyo Tower is near Akabanebashi Station on the Oedo Subway Line, Kamiyacho Station on the Hibiya Metro Line and Onarimon Station on the Mita Subway Line. Signs clearly show access to the tower from these stations.
From Shinjuku station, take the Oedo Subway Line to Akabanebashi Station (13 mins, 220 yen).
From Tokyo station, take the Marunouchi Line to Hibiya, the Hibiya Line to Kamiyacho station (21 mins, 170 yen).
